The range

The English site lists 49 products in six ranges: In Brine, Seasoned, Confits, Steamed, Delights and Snacks. Formats run from a 212 ml glass jar to a 3 kg can, with chilled trays for the Steamed and Confits ranges and a 30 g bag for Artichoke Chyps.

Quality and innovation

Quality checks run in Cynara’s own facilities, and production processes are certified to the international IFS standard. Product development follows what the company calls a 360° innovation model, from origin to table, which brings formulation, analysis, packaging, legislation and production together. Recognition

Artichoke Chyps, made from fresh artichokes that are harvested and selected by hand, earned two distinctions in 2018:

• Selected for the SIAL Innovation program at SIAL Paris.
• Best snack product award in the fried snack category at the 14th Seminario del Aperitivo, held by the Spanish snack manufacturers’ association (Asociación de Fabricantes de Aperitivos de España) with Sweetpress.
