Minibabys, as we call them
When Cynara looked for a name for its tiniest baby hearts, it settled on minibabys, and the extra touch of cuteness won the day. These are Mini Baby hearts, 20/30 counts, in a 314 ml glass jar within the In Brine range. They are a delightful surprise in sauces and dressings, and we add that they are perfect just as they are, whole.
Ingredients
Artichoke hearts, water, salt and acidifier: citric acid.
Cooking with them
The recipe that carries the name is the Diner style cheeseburger with creamy artichoke relish, built around a creamy relish. Two other dishes in the collection are the Fried chicken artichoke crowns with ranch dressing and baby greens and the Russian salad with Cynara artichokes, potatoes, piquillo pepper and sardine mayonnaise. A smaller heart is easy to drop into either one.

Logistics
Each jar contains 290 g net and 175 g drained. Twelve jars go in a case of 5.83 kg gross, and 168 cases make up a pallet of 1004 kg gross.
These hearts are the ones to reach for when you want artichoke to turn up in every spoonful of a sauce or a dressing. Because the pieces are so small, they distribute evenly, and nothing needs to be chopped first. Hand-picking at harvest keeps the character of the variety, and that is why a jar of tiny hearts still tastes like a proper artichoke.
Where it sits in the range
With 20/30 counts, this is the step between the Pearls and the Baby hearts with fewer counts per jar. If you want hearts that go whole into a dressing instead of being chopped first, this is the size that makes sense. They are sold as Individuals, which means they are aimed at home cooks and shoppers.
