Refreshing meals for the summer

In the summer, you want to eat light and fresh, since with hot meals your body temperature rises and we endure the heat worse.
Additionally, during summer the body uses less energy to warm us up and to counteract the heat and hydrate we drink more sugary drinks, ice cream and in the end we end up taking on a few pounds.
To help us with these excesses, Cynara offers us ideas to prepare simple, low-calorie dishes with artichokes that will help us refresh ourselves!
You can choose from a wide variety of salads, as well as cakes or cold soups made with artichokes, all very healthy and ideal dishes to take even in the office or on the beach. 

Here are two great recipes:

Artichoke salad

Ingredients:
• 1 bottle of Cynara Baby Artichoke Hearts or Cynara Artichoke Hearts in Oil and Spices
• 1 can of rolled mushrooms
• 1 can of sweet corn
• 80 g of turkey cooked in tacos
• 100 g chopped crab sticks
• Salt
• Basil
• Balsamic vinegar
• Extra virgin olive oil

Preparation:
Drain all the ingredients well, chop the artichoke hearts, mix everything and season with a pinch of salt, basil, vinegar and oil. It will be delicious.

Artichoke cake

Ingredients:
• 1 bottle of Medium Cynara Artichoke Hearts
• 1 can of green beans
• 2 cans of rolled mushrooms
• 5 eggs
• 3 slices of ​​bread
• 2 garlic cloves
• parsley
• grated cheese
• 80 g of ham with tacos
• 100 ml of milk cream
• 1/4 liter of milk
• 1 tablet of vegetable broth

Preparation:
Drain and fry the artichoke hearts with ham, garlic and parsley, adding half of the vegetable broth tablets crumbled. 
Remove the crust from the bread, soak it in milk and reserve in a separate container. Beat the eggs with the other half of the broth tablets, pour it on top and crush it. If the whites are mounted it will be spongy.
Mix with the rest of the ingredients and pour it into a rectangular baking pan spread with butter. Bake for 30 minutes at 180ºC. Serve at room temperature and you can decorate it with a bit of mayonnaise.
